Photo-catalyst,
is one of all kinds of catalyst. It will be activated by photo (light) to
facilitate the chemical reactions of the other compounds. Catalyst itself
will not decompose itself. It can be re-used for unlimited
times.
One of the most well-known photo-catalytic reaction is Photosynthesis
of green plant.
Chlorophyll
is
the natural Photo-catalyst, it provide a platform for
carbon dioxide CO2 in air be captured and turned
into oxygen O2
to release to
the air, and also the carbohydrate for the tree to grow.
